An Iraqi Christian, who withholds her name for fear of reprisals, worked in Baghdad’s Green Zone as a manager for Bechtel and several other American companies. While there, she met and fell in love with an Iraqi Muslim. Even now, far away from home, her family disagrees with her plan to marry a Muslim.
