Anyone! The Women Photojournalists of Washington Portfolio Review is an inclusive and welcoming event. Attendees and reviewers from all gender identities, ethnic, religious, and racial backgrounds are welcome!

Yes! Tickets for attending the full day, without reviews, are available.

Tickets for attending only the closing reception, are also available.

Local university students are encouraged to apply to be a volunteer. Selected volunteers will receive one or more review slots, lunch, and will be able to attend portions of day’s programming (keynote speech, workshops and closing reception).

Application for 2026: Closed

We will not be issuing refunds to this event, but we have ticket donation options available. Please email us up to two weeks before the review. Due to the nature of the preparation needed for the video review slots, we will not be able to donate video review slots.

Yes! Lunch will be provided to all participants this year.

Yes! All ticket holders are welcome to bring Canon, Nikon or Sony gear in to be cleaned. This will be offered on a first come first serve basis.

A full admission ticket guarantees two reviews.

Ahead of the event, attendees with reviews will receive an email invitation to rank their reviewer preferences and indicate areas of interest.

WPOW will do its best to match you using this information. If no preferences are received, attendees are matched with available reviewers.

Names and bios of reviewers participating can be found here.

Attendees will receive their reviewer matches the morning of the event at check-in. When possible, preliminary schedules are shared prior to the event but this is never guaranteed and matches are subject to change.

Yes! WPOW will do its best to match you with reviewers interested in seeing video.

Also, links to your work can be submitted in advance so video reviewers have the option of viewing work before the review (however they are not required to do so).

If available, extra review slots may be sold to full admission ticket holders in advance of the review. Look out for email updates to be notified in the weeks before the event!

Yes, please stay for the closing reception. Some reviewers also attend lunch

Yes! We have a limited amount of tickets and based on previous years, we anticipate the event will sell out. Get yours now!
